Shandong-USA/Canada Talent Exchange,Economic and Trade Fair
(November 2005)

Shandong-USA/Canada Talent Exchange, Economic and Trade Fair, sponsored by Personnel Department of Shandong Province, will be held in USA and Canada from November 10 to 23, 2005.

It is expected that various high level officers of Shandong provincial and municipal governments, representatives from major companies, overseas scholars, foreign trade individuals and specially invited participants will take part in the fair bringing with them a numbers of projects for cooperation and career opportunities. By serving as a bridge builder between overseas and local corporations, the Fair, incorporates talent exchange, investment opportunities, business and trade cooperation, displays of achievement, efforts business opportunities in the hi-tech fields of information, IT communication, pharmaceutical and healthcare, energy and new material technologies, biotechnologies and environmental sciences, fosters cooperation and mutual development between North American and Shandong China.

Participants from all Shandong municipal governments, institutions of scientific research and higher education, State-run large and medium size enterprises, non-governmental businesses, relevant development zones, hi-tech areas, specially designated returning overseas’ students development districts, as well as various other organizations will take part in the event, tendering more than 100 cooperative and talent requiring projects. The delegation members from Shandong coming to the fair are expected to be more than 100 people.

• Provide ideal platform for relationship building, business and procurement opportunities, and joint venture partnerships
• Organize press conferences and business development seminars
• Enhance networking and communication between USA/Canada and Shandong China
• Offer a forum for better understanding of Shandong
• Promote talent exchange and information exchange between USA/Canada and Shandong China

We ask that you fill out the appropriate registration forms submitting them, along with any other required information, as early as possible. We will then, in accordance with the situation of the projects submitted, contact relevant businesses and government agencies to begin project exchange and technological linkups to assure that all involved parties, whether involved in technological cooperation or talented personnel recruitment, will attain the maximum amount of benefit possible.
